Part of loving refugees these days is being a truth-teller.

It’s easy for myths to spread about refugee claimants. Myths can become policy or discrimination if we’re not careful. So in an age of “fake news” and the ever-present stereotypes and misinformation about newcomers that have been with us in every age, truth-telling and truth-seeking must be part of what it means to love refugees.
